A Funbag Art Calendar

I know it has taken a while, but here is my second calendar for the funbag fascinatio group on flickr...

This one is an all art affair.. whilst a lot of the work is mine and mainly pastel (again) there is original art by Jo Co and Anthony Billings... I like this calendar it has sass... again it is a do it yourself calanedar (see instructions at the bottom of this post) You will see these calendar pages (and others) on the right hand sidebar throughout this year... These two calendars took a while to create and organize approval... but I hope they are both very origional and worthwhile

This sketch is also for my illustated journal at last.fm

another pastel portrait

pastel on paper

This is of a long time net friend, Gianita, Chao Babe... I like the speed of pastels for getting the tone and colour laydown... I realise I probably not using them in the prescribed method but so far I have been having fun, and pleased with the results

IF I were a super-hero

I am not really the super hero type, perhaps as a peter pan is more my style... anyway I though about it and I kind of have become a super hero to the real size and just shy ladies, that want to be thought of as more glamorous... many love my illustration... I never really had that planned as a priority, it is just that I do see that they ARE glamous, it's just they don't realize it (or fear it)... so threes cheers for the "real" glamorous ladies!

For illustration friday, topic super hero

liberation of pure colour

Pastel of sally on Tinted paper

I will have to admit I love the pure colour pigments you get with soft pastels...the let me "paint" in the colour much faster than trying to build up washes... I can build up these pure pigments on the papers tooth... ok the casuality is transparency and tenderess (compared with watercolour)... but pure colour lets the skin come alive and radiant with sensuality... feel the warmth, feel the gravity

I wonder why there are not more great nudes painted in pastel?

doodling again

Watercolour doodle on paper

Is this a painting of a tree, or just coloured lines? I'd be interested to know what you see.

... don't panic it's not deep question, more a reflection

Late new years resolution

I'm not sure why my the demographic for this humble sketch blog has changed so much... still getting a reasonable number hits, but they are all now mainly firsttime visitors (I used to get 50% revisit level)... does that mean I'm not posting anything interesting enough to bring folk back... love to get feeback actually what do you like or dislike, does this new "cleaner layout suck", do you listen to the tunes, is my art just crap.... and i boring you.

a calendar project

after a very little encouragement from billy warhol... I have decided to create two different "glamour" calendars for the flickr group i moderate called "the funbag fascination". This is the first, shown here, the "The cleavage gourmet", is based on some of the best cleavage photo submitted. Because I am having a private no fakers campaign I only selected what I considered were genuine photos and I am very pleased with the results.
